"Re-growth"
Commissioned by Jewish Family Services, Los Angeles, 2021.

Six hand etched Plexiglas panels suspended from the wall, Six drawings on Vellum, Dichroic Film, Painted Mural.
Stemming from the ancient roots of the Polish Bartek Oak, iconic plants from multiple cultures served by Jewish Family Services are intertwined into an ethereal landscape. “Re-growth” signifies the new life ahead with hope and connection between the community of people and place. Composed in segments to respond to and be integrated with the surrounding architecture and shifting daylight, each vellum drawing has a plexiglass etching counterpart that references a surrogate of self.
